Upcoming action-thriller “Complex, Texas” is heading to the market in Cannes and has revealed a first-look of “Entourage” star Kevin Dillon gripping — somewhat impressively — both an oversized machine gun and silver metal case.
The film — which also stars Cam Gigandet (“Twilight”), Danielle Vasinova (“The Madison”), Kelly Lynn Reiter (“Deadlock”), Brian Austin Green (“Beverly Hills 90210”) and Nick Swardson (“Just Go with It”) — has been acquired for worldwide sales by VMI Worldwide, which will launch it to buyers at the Marche Du Film.
Directed by Jared Cohn from a script by Sean Sellars, the recently-wrapped features see a simple robbery spirals out into chaos when three low-level crooks (Dillon, Gigandet and Vasinova) accidentally pull off the largest heist in history. With $300 million in tow, they seek refuge in a dying West Texas town, only to discover its desperate inhabitants are more dangerous than the law. As greed ignites and alliances crumble, everyone is willing to kill for a chance at the money.
The “Complex, Texas” cast ensemble also includes Anthoney Del Negro, Bastiano Ferrari, BJ Hendricks, Christopher Murray, Clint Howard, Kirk Fox, JB Yowell, Jenna Jameson, Jesse Kove, Josh Kelly, Linda Bella, Liora Kats, Mark Rolston, Randolph Parks, Ryan Bader, Ryan M. Darling, Sharna Burgess, Stacy Kemp Tori London, Willam DeMeo and Yulia Klass.
The deal was negotiated by Jessica Russo, COO of VMI Worldwide, and James Cullen Bressack at Sandaled Kid Productions.

VMI Worldwide’s Julie Paquit is worldwide sales in Cannes. The company has already secured deals in Spain with Twelve Oaks and Eastern Europe with Daro.
